Hello All, Dr. Gabriel recently started giving stem cell lectures once weekly at the Jupiter Hotel. I attended last week and really enjoyed the presentation (and the snacks). Stem cell therapy is most recommended for arthritic changes in the knees as an alternative to knee replacement surgery. We perform stem cell injections with cells derived from amnioticmembranes which are obtained from donated placentas, harvested following scheduled C-sections.
The benefit of using umbilica l >/amniotic stem cells is that it bypasses the invasive, and often painful, harvesting of a person’s own stem cells. The donor tissue has been tested above and beyond FDA guidelines and is a valuable option for treatment. We continue to offer Platelet Rich Plasma injections, which are another form of regenerative medicine that may be more accessible financially for folks in need of rebuilding some tendon, ligament or other soft tissue following chronic or overuse injury.
To learn more about stem cell injections and other options to avoid surgery, come on by for the talk. To RSVP and get information call Sue at (503) 766-4878 .
